I´m really stoked with the gear. The jacket fits very good and considering the amount of protection, it doesn’t hinder movement and agility noticeably. Well done!
The main fear when BASE-jumping is an object strike. The natural reflex in a strike would be to protect your vital organs with your legs and arms and take the hit with shoulders, elbows, hips, knees etc.
The trousers fit as good as the jacket. I guess that on jumps that demands a lot of hiking and climbing, one might take out some of the pads (eg. thigh) to save weight. But in most occasions I will probably wear them as they are.
I tried BASE-jumping with the gear this weekend. It worked perfect, just the way I anticipated. Movement un-hindered and comfortable. Feels great!
